| Abstract: | Measurements of the nitrogen-14 and deuterium quadrupolar splittings in NH4NO3 and (CH3)4 N NO3 dissolved in the disodiumcromoglycate–water liquid crystalline system are presented. Nitrogen-14 T1 values in aqueous solutions for these salts are also given. The results are discussed and compared with similar studies on solutes containing 14N in ordered media. |
