APF Gold Medal Awards, Distinguished Practice of Psychology Award, and Distinguished Teaching of Psychology Award.

Abstract:The APF Gold Medal Awards recognize distinguished and enduring records of accomplishment in three areas of psychology. The 1994 recipients are C. H. Lawshe, the Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Application of Psychology; Bernice L. Neugarten, the Gold Medal Award for Life Contribution by a Psychologist in the Public Interest; and Endel Tulving, the Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in Psychological Science. The APF Distinguished Practice of Psychology Award is a special 1994 award that recognizes an outstanding career contribution to the practice of psychology. Ronald E. Fox is the 1994 recipient of this award. The APF Distinguished Teaching of Psychology Award recognizes outstanding career contributions to the teaching of psychology. This year (1994), there are two recipients for this award; Harry P. Bahrick and Patricia Keith-Spiegel. The citations, biographies, and selected bibliographies of the awardees are presented here.
