基于LabVIEW的激光器斜率效率自动测试系统

摘    要:为了能快速方便地测量半导体激光器的斜率效率,利用虚拟仪器技术,设计了斜率效率自动测试系统.计算机通过RS-232接口向半导体激光器发送控制命令字符,按照一定电流步长不断改变激光器的输出功率,控制AD采样电路读取激光功率计的读数.然后将激光器的驱动电流值和功率计读数存储下来,并进行曲线拟合,计算得到激光器的斜率效率值.得到的结果与激光器说明书的标称值基本一致.

Abstract:In order to measure the slope efficiency of laser, the automatic measuring system is designed. The system uses the virtual instrument technology. The computer sends the command characters to the laser through the RS-232 port, changes the output power of the laser according to a certain current step, reads the laser power values through an AD sampling circuit and then saves the AD values and the laser driving currents. Finally the curve of the drive currents vs. the output power is plotted and fitted, and the value of the slope efficiency of laser is gotten. The result is almost the same with the data in the manual.
