摘    要:随着信息处理技术的飞速发展,图像压缩越来越受到人们的重视。提出一种新的小波分形混合编码方法,引入了小波树的概念,将传统分形编码中块的匹配问题转化为小波树的匹配问题。根据不同方向代表的纹理信息的不同,定义了不同的小波树。在对小波树编码时,灵活运用了零树的概念,提高了压缩效率。对于不同复杂程度的小波树分配不同的码字,具有一定的自适应性。实验结果表明,与传统的基于小波变换的分形编码相比,该方法可以获得较好的压缩效果。

Abstract:Along with the rapid development of information processing, people attach more and more importance to image compression. In this paper, a new wavelet and fractal image coding is put forward. It imports the concept of wavelet - tree, transforming the matching of fractal blocks in conventional fractal coding into the matching of wavelet - trees. According to the different texture information in different directions, different wavelet - trees are defined. When coding the wavelet - trees, zerotree is using neatly, which improves the compression efficiency. Assign different code to the wavelet - trees of different complicated degrees. It is self - adaptive. The result shows, it has better compression effect, contrasting with the conventional fractal coding based on wavelet transform.
