Abstract: | The catalytic activity and stability of the PdCl2/SnCl2 mixed catalyst for electroless copper plating were investigated. Such performances of the mixed catalyst were dependent on the preparation conditions of the stock solution. The mixed catalyst adsorbed on the substrate initially seems to be a water soluble complex or colloidal state. Subsequently, palladium and tin palladium alloy are gradually formed by the oxidation of Sn(II). |
