| Abstract: | The study of eastern district of Linglong gold field ia Jiaodong is mcuh poor compared to western district. This paper formulaies the geologic characteristics o gold deposit in eastern district of Linglcng. Gold deposits in eastern district include qnartz vein type, altered rolck type and the transiticnal type of fhe former two.The distribution of gold veins is controlled by the NE-NEE trending ore-bearing fracture. The intersection and turning part of fracture are the favourite sites for the occurring of gold deposit.Gold occurs mainly as electrum. Most of its grain are less than 0.03mm in size with the predominant shape of granular and dendroid. The main gold-loaded minerals ara pyrite.The subordinate minerals are chalcopyrite and quartz.There are four stages in ore-forming process.The gold is mainly formed in the second and third stages . |
