??It is imporative to reform the natural gas price, so the principle and regulations of forming the price must be first found. The paper summerizes the general principle of making the price in the world on the basis of the research on the developing of natural gas industry abroad. It can form the natural gas price that reflects cargoes value, characteristic of natural gas production, relations between supply and demand, and long-term beneft of country under the construction of the priniciple; meanwhile, many kinds of advantages and disadvantages of the price policy made by some countries were also analysed, and it can be used for reference for our country to make natural gas price.
