Abstract:The reasons and the characteristics of low cycle fatigue of the parts are briefly explained in this paper and also ana- lyses the variation nile of low cycle fatigue life of the parts with applying σ-N curve. The application in engineering design u- sually adopts σ-N line to reflect the variation rule of low cycle fatigue life of the parts. The author also sums up the universali- ty which can be applied to low cycle fatigue of the parts through practice and strain amplitudes experiments which can be carried out to deal with many materials with different calm strength, then verifies the process assessment and discusses the calculation results.
