| Abstract: | Reports the first observation of 'seeded' second harmonic generation in a GeO/sub 2/ and P/sub 2/O/sub 5/ codoped silica ridge waveguide from a pump wavelength at 1.064 mu m. A 200-fold increase over the background signal has been measured.< |
