摘    要:随着英语教学的不断改革,提高学生英语口语交际能力已经成为英语教学的重要目标。演讲集言语交流和非言语交流为一体,重在唤起听众的注意,向听众传达自己的观点、思想和感悟。文章尝试在口语课上有意识地穿插基于任务型的演讲教学和训练,结果发现公共演讲可以很好地提高学生的兴趣,调动学生积极参与课堂,有助于提高学生的自我表达能力,并为口语教学提供新的思路和培训途径。

Abstract:With the reform of College English teaching, improving students' English spoken ability has become one of the targets of teaching. Public speaking is a kind of colnmunication activity for purposes of motivation, influence, persuasion, informing, and so on. This study inserts English speeches teaching into the oral English course and find it can be an effective way for teaching. It can help students actively participate in class and express themselves, improve their practical ability and offer some new perspectives in oral English teaching.
