Abstract: | Ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm classically presents with abdominal pain radiating to the back, a pulsatile abdominal mass and circulatory collapse. However, other symptoms may be the only presenting complaint. We report the case of a patient who presented with a history of acute retention of urine relieved by catheterisation, but who then developed clinical features more typical of abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture. |
