Application of the Green Traffic Idea in the Design of Urban Road

The 21st century is an environment protection century with environmental issues remaining primary ones of city development in new era. City transportation development must stick to this point taking developing pollution-free "green transportation" as basic policy and target. An Example about traffic engineering design of Huxi Road in Maanshan city being illustrated, this paper has expatiated how to keep transportation and environment in line under the precondition that road had already satisfied the traffic demand, thus to give the traffic partners a graceful and recreational traffic environment.
