| Abstract: | Based on the essences of grounding, the factors affecting the ground resistance are analyzed. Moreover, some measures for resistance reduction of traction substations in areas with high soil resistivity and some methods for designing grounding net are proposed as well as the selection of reasonable grounding resistance in areas with high soil resistivity are discussed. |
