| Abstract: | Based on simply introducing the conception, the chracter and the machanism of ur-
ban heat island, the author discusses the effect of urban heat island on the heat protec-
tion, the insulation and the dampproof design of architecture in urban region, and gives
the methods to eliminate the harmful effects of urban heat island. |
