用涂敷法自射线照相法研究了Ce在铝硅合金中的分布。结果表明,Ce在初生α-Al和多数初生Si中是贫化的,Ce主要富集于共晶体中。共晶Si中的含Ce量远多于共晶α-Al中的含Ce量。

Microdistribution of Ce in Cast Al-Si Alloy

The modification effect of rare earth in the Al-Si alloy has been well appreciated and established by many works. To explain the operating mechanism of rare earth. It is necessary to understand the microdistribution of rare earth. It is very difficult to affirm its distribution in Al-Si alloy with conventional methods. Thus, autoradiography and electrclysis methods for detecting the microdistribution of Ce in Al-Si alloy have been used. Results show that Ce is very few in primary alpha-Al and primary Si, Ce mostly concentrates in eutectic colony. The content of Ce in eutectic Si is much higher than that in eutectic alpha-Al. Ce is absorbed in twin defects of eutectic Si and makes the twin crystal growth of eutectic Si slower, this leads to modified microstruc-ture of eutectic Si.
