Abstract:The transducers with traditional structure are difficult to adapt to underwater high-speed movement. This paper proposes a design scheme of ultrasonic array transducer with conical structure based on the design of ordinary array transducer with circular or elliptical head. The proposed transducer can be suitable for underwater high-speed aircraft. The size and structure of the array element are determined by finite element simulation, the overall sound field distribution of the transducer is analyzed. A prototype of the transducer is developed and its electroacoustic performance is tested. The test results of the prototype are in good agreement with the simulation results. The directivity and emission voltage response of the transducer meet the application requirements. The results show that the structure of the transducer is practical and feasible.
