Abstract: | A scheme is proposed for choosing the parameters of a hydraulic percussive machine on the basis of the main elements that
determine its operation. Equations are formed and a metric analysis is performed to establish dynamic similarity criteria
for the system. The duty cycles are calculated and the dependences of the output characteristics on dimensionless input parameters
are plotted. If two output characteristics (such as the mass and velocity of the striker at the end of the working stroke)
and the parameters of the energy carrier are specified, the dependences can be used to calculate the remaining characteristics
of the percussive machine, including the parameters of the gas-liquid accumulator.
