| Abstract: | As an example, 3rd order analysis is carried out for the two dimensional surface wave generated by a vertical flap harmonically oscillating in a water with finite depth, it reveals the composition of the 3rd order solution in frequency domain for water surface wave problem. The 3rd order solution of velocity potential for this study case is derived. |
