| Abstract: | Investigation reveals that universities in China are experiencing a setback in foreign language education, especially in English education, due to over swelling of student numbers enrolled, and the shortage of EFL teachers. This paper examines factors affecting EFL teaching in the context of university expansion. It also proposes on how to improve teaching performance based on new technology, appropriate approaches and better application of EFL teacher resources. |
