| Abstract: | Elaboration is made on the development history and applied technology of the alcohol fuel, which is an alternateengine fuel with latent potence, and application of which can not only improve energy structure and reduce the dependenceon petroleum importation, but also decrease the emissions from vehicles. The basic properties of this fuel and its vistas forapplication are also discussed. |
