摘    要:针对线性光放大器(LOA)的结构特点,建立了基于速率方程的模型。使用该模型分析了增益钳制特性和转换后信号的消光比。理论计算结果表明,分布式布拉格反射镜(DBR)形成的垂直光场对增益具有钳制作用。增大DBR的反射率,可以增大LOA的线性输入范围;用于波长转换时,能提高转换信号的消光比。计算结果较好地拟合了文献实验结果。

Abstract:According to structural property of linear optical amplifier (LOA), a model was built using rate equations. This model was used to analyze gain-clamping characteristic and the extinction ratio of wavelength-converted signal. The theoretical results indicate that, a vertical laser field, formed by distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) mirrors, clamps gain. The power range of input signal can be widened through the enhancement of reflectivity of DBR mirrors. And the extinction ratio of converted signal also can be raised when LOA was used as wavelength conversion device. Good agreement was acquired between the simulated and experimental results.
