| Abstract: | The dispersion polymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile in polyether polyol(f = 3,Mn= 5 000)is studied by using a specially synthesized non-ionic surfactant as stabilizer and AIBN as initiator. An equation for the maximum dispersion polymerization rate is established as follows:Rmax=KCI CM CE-1.5.Under the process conditions, the problems of reactor wall foiling and polymer agglomeration are basically solved, and the polymer obtained possesses low viscosity, high flowability and good shelf stability as compared with those of similar products. |
