| Abstract: | he site of kiln No. 4 of Xinjing Cement Plant has complicated geology condition. The rock formation of the footing of some important constructs are loessal quasi-clay or gravelly sand with low bearing capacity,but the loadapplied on the construct foundation is very heavy.Based on those conditions,through discussing and comparing,the design scheme of belled pier foundation with enlarged footing hole was adopted.The measurements of the bear-ing capacity of rock formations,the desigh of belled pier,the observation of completed constructs deformation,etc,have been carried out and reported. |
