| Abstract: | In the paper, the rule of polymer optical waveguide layers used in OE-PCB was reviewed briefly. At the same, patterning techniques of polymer optical waveguide layers were introduced. The main method includes reactive ion etching(RIE), photolithography, laser ablation, hot embossing. |
