| Abstract: | Based on the relationship between the reactive power and voltage as well as the way of regulating them, this paper introduces the principles of the automatic regulation of the reactive power and voltage in comprehensive automatic substations and the mode of operation control, which both are realized by backstage software. The problems existing in the practical application of automatic control are also described. |
