| Abstract: | The process to get to know hydrogen embrittlement of steels and the previous research were briefly reviewed. The relation of state of hydrogen present in steel to hydrogen embrittlement of steel and the relation of hydrogen embrittlement of steel to plastic deformation, including fracture morphology and breaking process, were also outlined. In addition, common problems, such as the hydrogen embrittlement of austenitic stainless steels, the breaking resulting from hydrogen embrittlement and so on, were described as well. |
