在宽带综合业务接入网中，ＨＤＳＬ和ＡＤＳＬ技术受到双绞线性能的限制，不能满足高质量服务要求，只是一种过渡性的技术，以ＨＦＣ为基础的ＣＡＴＶ宽带接入网既能满足近期要求，经过升级亦能满足将来全数字宽带接入网的要求，在设计宽带接入网时，要解决网络中系统的双向传输，接口技术，信号变换，调制解调，频谱安排，网管等一系列技术问题，要设计符事宽带服务要求的前端，光节点及终端设备。目前一些技术已经可供网络升级使用

Broadband integrated service HFC network

With the development of the broadband integrated service access network,HDSL and ADSL techniques could not satisfy the demand of broadband service due to the limitation of the properties of paired cable,so these two techniques are only transitional. BAN,which is based on the HFC,can not only satisfy the need in the near future,but also meet the requirement for full-digital broadband access network after upgrading. There are a series of techniques such as bi-directional transmission,interface technique,signal exchange,modulation and demodulation,spectrum arrangement and network management in the design of broadband access network. At the same time,the design of head end,optical node and terminal equipment must be according to the standards of broadband service. Now some techniques have been available for network upgrade. The technique which integrates the scattered CATV network into a unified broadband access network by combining the ring and the star structures becomes a very important trend,which suites the conditions in China and can provide great social and economical benefits.
