Application of Intelligent Motor Protection Equipment on Building Energy-saving

Aimed at the common motor operating accident due to short circuit, overload, locked-rotor, losting-phase under conventional inefficient motor control and protection mode, the paper presents a smart solution integrating motor monitoring, protection and control based on DCS distributed control system： which provides an open and transparent interactive platform for the data acquisition and communication of different equipments; and has an function of real time acquisition and record as well as an ability of online analyzing, estimating and predicting of motor equipment failure. The solution can realize the initiative intelligent analysis and the monitoring protection of motor, and ensure the efficient and safe operation of system.
