摘    要:本文有效地将一维中的前向/后向空间平滑技术扩展到二维中的时-空阵列数据矩阵,提出了一种用于相干信号联合波达角-频率估计的新型预处理方法.本文详细地分析了如何构造前向/后向平滑时-空阵列数据矩阵,导出了确保信号波达角-频率参数可分辨应满足的条件.与仅利用前向空间平滑的现有预处理方法不同,本文的预处理方法同时利用前向和后向空间平滑,因而提高了阵元的利用率,使联合波达角-频率估计的性能明显提高.

Abstract:A new preprocessing method is proposed for joint direction-of-arrival and frequency estimation in the presence of coherent signals by effectively extending the forward/backward spatial smoothing technique in the 1-D case to the spatio-temporal array data matrix in the 2-D case.This paper analyzes in detail how to construct the forward/backward smoothed spatio-temporal array data matrix and the conditions under which the identifiability of signal parameters is guaranteed.Unlike the existing methods using only the forward spatial smoothing technique,the performance of the proposed method is greatly improved due to utilizing both the forward and backward spatial smoothing technique.It requires few sensors,exhibits high accuracy and resolution and performs well under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
