| Abstract: | This paper deals with the numerical method of finding the meshing point on the surfaces of a pair of spiral bevel gears. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages among several searching methods based on the calculation result, accuracy and speed, a synthesized method is found. Calculation result shows that this method is very effective. |
