| Abstract: | To control solid phase content in drilling mud, a small size all-columnar bowl centrifuge has been suc-cessfully developed byInstitute of Geology and Mineral Resources of Xinjiang. In addition to the imple andunique all-columnar bowl design,thecentrifuge has many characteristics: 1)the removal ability of solids isgreat; 2)the mud loss is small ; and 3) Ithas a small volume, a low power consumption, a light weight andalower price. Thus, the structure, characteristic of all-columnar bowl centrifuge and its effect for treatingmud in core drilling were briefly introduced. |
