Abstract: | The effect of the ammonia concentration, pH, and temperature on the kinetics and mechanism of MoO3 dissolution are analyzed based on the principles of heterogeneous kinetics. It is found that the rate of the limiting step is determined by the adsorption of the ammonium ion, which leads to the formation of an intermediate surface compound. |
