| 摘 要： | 被动语态是科技英语一个极其重要的句法特征,它的译法也十分灵活。通过讨论被动语态使用的场合,分析在科技英语中几种常见的被动语态翻译方法,提出只有采用灵活多样的翻译方法,才能使译文既在信息传递上准确无误,又在语言表达上符合汉语的行文习惯,确保译文在中文语境下的可读性。

| Abstract: | The wide use of passive voice is a very important syntactic feature of English for science and technology and its translation is quite flexible. This paper discusses the occasions where passive voice is widely employed, introduces several frequently used translating methods, and points out that various translating methods must be adopted to ensure that the transferred texts suit the Chinese lan- guage＇s expressing habits and are readable in the Chinese context while keeping the accuracy of the transferred information. |
