| Abstract: | The structure, hardness, and thickness of the hardened layer on steel 16Kh2N3MFBAYu-Sh (martensitic class), steel 12Kh18N10T (austenitic class), and iron are studied after nitriding at a nitrogen pressure of 100 – 150 MPa and temperature of 950 – 1150°C with 3-h hold and after additional heat treatment consisting of 1-h tempering at 300 – 600°C. |
