Demand response research and practice at abroad

With the speeding up of industrialization and ur-banization,the energy shortage and environmental protection have brought new problems that global economic development faces. Electric power industry is the backbone of the economic develop-ment. The development of the economy puts forward higher require-ments on the electric power enterprises. Power enterprises should not only pay attention to the management optimization of the gener-ation resource,more should pay attention to the demand side man-agement. This paper introduces the foreign demand response imple-mentation situation,the specific measures and the pilot projects. Comparing the demand the current situation and the problems in our country,it finds the lessons from the other countries. This can provide new thought and analysis theory in the implementation of response measures for our country.
