C型稀土氧化物的Raman光谱研究

摘    要:C(立方)型稀土氧化物RE2O3在可见激光的激发下,其拉曼光谱易受到RE3 先致发光谱的干扰。利用不同的激发源以及吸收谱等方法测定并辨别C型RE2O3(RE=Gd,Dy,Ho,Y,Er,Tin,Yb,Lu,Sc)激发谱中的拉曼谱峰。结果表明,C型RE2O3基本上都有相似的拉曼振动特征谱,特别是350~420cm-1区由REO6八面体伸缩振动引起的谱峰,其峰值随RE3 半径的缩小而增加,进一步证明了镧系收缩的理论。

Abstract:Raman spectra for cubic sesquioxides of rare earths RE2O3 (RE = Dy, Ho, Y, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Sc ), which were finely divided powders of spectrographic purity, are easy to be cluttered with photoluminescence lines when visible laser sources are used as excitations. The visible region excitation spectra excited by different pump lines and absorption spectra, have been used to rid Raman peaks from photoluminescence lines in the excitation spectra of the RE2O3. The results exhibit the cubic RE2O3 have similar Raman spectra and the strongest band between 350 and 420 cm-1 in particular, caused by stretching vibrations of REO6 octahedron, shifts almost linearly to lower frequencies with increasing metal ionic radii, further proves the theory of lanthanide contraction.
