Microstructure of hot-pressed B4C–TiB2 thermoelectric composites

Abstract:B4C–TiB2 thermoelectric composites were prepared via hot-pressing. The phase composition, microstructure of the samples were characterized by means of XRD, SEM and TEM. The composition of different phases, including grain boundary phase, was analyzed by means of EDS. The effects of the microstructure on the thermoelectric properties of the composites are discussed.
