塘田战时讲学院与湖南抗战文化运动

塘田战时讲学院，是抗日战争时期在中国共产党领导下，由湖南抗战文化界爱国知识分子倡办、用以培养基层抗日干部兼开展抗战文化运动的干部培训学校，是湖南抗战文化的重要组成部分。塘田战时讲学院聚集了当时湖南最优秀的师资，面向全国各地各阶层公开招生，对学员进行科学文化教育和抗日救亡教育，在当时的湖南可谓影响深远。塘田战时讲学院为抗战培养了大批优秀人才，同时指导学生积极开展抗战宣传和对周边的民众教育，促进了抗日救亡运动“向乡村深处发展”，其统一战线的办学形式，也为湖南抗日民族统一战线的发展起了推动作用。

The Wartime Institute of Tang Tian And The Anti-Japanese War Cultural Movement of Hunan

The Wartime Institute of Tang Tian was a cadre training school advocated and established by the patriotic intellectuals of Anti-Japanese War cultural circle under the guidance of the Communist Party of China during the Anti-Japanese War, and was an important part of the Anti-Japanese War culture in Hunan Province. It aimed at cultivating grass-roots Anti-Japanese cadres as well as conducting anti-Japanese War cultural activities. With the most excellent faculty of Hunan at that time, the institute recruited students from all circles throughout the country, and gave them the education of science and culture, as well as Anti-Japanese and national salvation. Therefore, it had profound influence in Hunan. The institute not only cultivated a large number of elites for the war, but also impulsed the Anti-Japanese and national salvation movement to develop into the deeper rural areas through guiding the students to carry out Anti-Japanese War propaganda and launching mass education in the neighborhood. Furthermore, it took the united front as a form of running a school, which also played an important role in the development of the Anti-Japanese National United Front in Hunan.
