语类教学法在大学英语阅读教学中的应用研究

摘    要:目前在大学英语阅读教学中主要存在三方面的问题,而语类教学法可很好地解决这些问题,极大地提高阅读速度和效率。首先提出大学英语阅读教学中存在的问题;接着就解决这些问题的方法,以系统功能语言学理论为基础,阐述了语类的定义和语类分析的方法并提出语类分析的四大要素,从而引出了语类教学法;最后探讨了语类教学法在大学英语阅读教学中的具体应用,包括阅读教学的步骤和阅读问题的设计。

Application of Genre-Based Teaching Approach to the Teaching of College English Reading

Abstract:There are mainly three problems existing in the teaching of college English reading nowadays. The application of genre-based teaching approach can solve these problems and improve students' reading speed and efficiency. First, the problems existing in the teaching of college English reading are put forward. Then based on the definition of genre and the methods used in genre analysis in systemic-functional linguistic theories, four major factors in- volved in genre analysis are inferred and genre-based teaching approach as the new approach to solve these problems is introduced. Finally this paper explores the application of genre-based teaching approach to the teaching of college English reading, including the teaching procedures and the design of questions.
