| Abstract: | Recent studies of acoustic emission in metal samples and structures undertaken at CNIITMASH are reviewed. General features of AE are discussed. Some results from AE investigations are presented, including evaluation, sensitivity, AE signal models, AE during plastic deformation. AE from fatigue cracks; also aspects of AE source classification and criteria for object rejection are considered. |
