| 摘 要： | 通用串行总线（USB）是计算机外设接口的发展趋势，文中介绍了一种把USB总线应用于视频监视和会议系统中的方案。而且由于采用了MPEG－2编解码芯片进行实时的压缩，使得图像的质量可以达到DVD级，而占用的空间却不大。本系统中还可以根据实际需要选择不同的压缩格式和参数，有广阔的应用前景。

| Abstract: | Universal Serial Bus (USB) makes the connection between computers and peripherals easier, an application of USB in a new video Surveillance and Conferencing System is introduced . MPEG - 2 codec chip is also used in this system, so the quality the coded Video can rival DVD, while the occupied space comparatively smaller. Users can select different compression formats according to their actual requests. |
