Concrete Canoe Race:Celebration of Science, Culture and Youth

The concrete canoe race is a comprehensive competition clouding the design,manufacture and speed of the concrete canoe among the university student teams.In this paper,the origination from United States and the development all over the world was briefly introduced;the rules and the enchantment of the race was presented;the approach to combination of concrete canoe race and dragon boat race was also discussed.The development of concrete canoe race with the nature of dragon boat culture will contribute to the campus culture construction and the education of cement concrete materials science and engineering in the university in a unique way.
