Thermal protection and pay-back times

Still focusing on subjects prepared for the second CIB International Symposium on Energy Conservation, held in Copenhagen at the end of May last, we present two papers with widely-contrasting themes. The first deals with broad issues affecting decisions to invest in energy-saving; the second discusses the more mundane but no less important question of how effective weatherstrips for doors and windows really are in this context.
