| 摘 要： | 通过对奇卡纳女性文学产生的历史文化背景的简要概述，将奇卡纳女性的生存之道与一般成长小说的成长模式进行对比，梳理出《芒果街上的小屋》中女性自我成长的艰辛与伟大，以及少数族裔移民追寻精神家园之旅的崎岖漫长。

| Abstract: | Sandra Cisneros＇s novelThe House on Mango Street, because of the author＇s growing experience and soul journey as a Mexican immigrant and its autobiographical narratives, is endowed with three characteristics of being a bildungsroman, a female bildungsroman, and a Chicana bildungsroman. This paper, based on the historical and cultural background analysis of Chicana literature, and the con- trast between Chicana survival way with the general growth model in novels, outlines the hardship and greatness of female self growth in the novelThe House on Mango Street, and the long and rough journey of the ethnic immigrants seeking spiritual home. |
