| Abstract: | Melt Infiltration is a new technology of making ceramic composites,which is divided into two processes:nonreactive and reactive infiltration.The former is simple and the latter is relatively complicated.This article discussed the processing mechanisms and courses of melt infiltration for manufacturing ceramic composites.In addition,it discussed emphatically the mechanisms for melt reactive penetration forming SiC/Si ceramic composites. |
