重温"陈词滥调"--谈结构正确性及其在当代建筑评论中的意义

随着当代建筑对现代主义运动的反思,结构正确性概念受到了人们的质疑,甚至被认为是一种"陈词滥调".本文通过结构正确性概念在建筑学中的树立,结构正确性的极至以及当代建筑对待结构正确性的不同态度等三个方面的讨论,对这一"陈词滥调"在当今建筑评论中的意义进行了重新认识.作者认为,虽然建筑学本身的复杂与矛盾使我们不可能对结构正确性采取简单的肯定或否定态度,但结构正确性在资源有效性和可持续发展方面的积极意义,却使我们必须在当今的建筑学讨论中给它以一席之地.

Reviewing "Platitude"--Correctness of Structure and its Significance in Contemporary Architectural Critique

In rethinking of the Modernism Movement, concept ofstructural correctness is facing discredit today and even regardedas platitude. This paper discusses the issue of structural cor-rectness in three parts: the establishment of structural correct-ness in architecture idea, the extreme approach of structural cor-rectness and the different attitudes toward structural correctnessin contemporary architecture. In this discussion, the author has asecond cognition on the significance of platitude in contempo-rary architectural critique. The author thinks, structural correct-ness cant be simply affirmed or denied because of the complexityand contradiction of architecture discipline. But with the inherentresonance to high-resources-efficiency and sustainability, struc-tural correctness is not at all a non sequitur in contemporaryarchitectural critique.
