翻译规范视野下清末民初翻译小说论

翻译作为以译者为主体的社会化行为,必然受到社会文化规范的制约。清末民初小说翻译表现各异,总体而言都受到了本土文化的影响,是近代翻译规范制约的结果。借鉴切斯特曼的翻译规范理论,本文从翻译选材和诗学两个方面分析译入语文化语境制约翻译的内外部因素,阐释了特定社会、文化环境对翻译活动的规范作用,并进而具体揭示了该期译者受规范制约而采用的三种翻译方法：即改写法、删减法与增译法。

An Exploration of Translated Novels in Late Qing Dynasty from the Perspective of Translation Norm Theory

Translation,a social activity,must be inevitably restricted by social cultural norms with the translator as its main body.The novel translation in Late Qing period is influenced by the native culture with different manifestations,which are the results of modern translation normative constraints.By virtue of Chesterman＇s translation norm theory,the paper analyzes the internal and external factors from the material-selecting and poetics,and interprets the specific social and cultural environments on translation norms and reveals the three translation techniques,namely adaptation,deletion and amplification during the period.
