Abstract: | In this article we discuss the theory of transport and penetration for oil in the injection of a heat-bearing fluid into a reservoir with surfactants. There are two academic findings for drop of oil transport. First, the smaller the drops, the higher the rates for drop transport. Second, the driven pressure of the oil drop with surfactants is approximately two orders of magnitude higher than that of the oil drop without surfactants. It is one of the reasons why steam injection with a surfactant is better than steam injection. |
