摘    要:过度接触汞对孕妇、胎儿和年龄较小的孩子的影响一直是公立和私立研究机构关注的焦点。过度接触这种神经毒素,胎儿和婴儿会出现脑损伤、智力缺陷等多种症状。为了使大众认识到过度接触汞产生的影响,地方渔业已经出现各种各样的通知公告。目前已有几种方法可以分析测定鱼体内的汞含量。然而,这些方法大多需要进行繁琐的样品处理过程,消耗了大量人力和成本。直接对汞进行分析,如U.S.EPA Method 7473所述,是除了这些方法之外的另外一种分析测定方法。这种方法已成功地用于鱼和其他生物组织中汞含量的测定。

Abstract:The effects of overexposure to mercury on pregnant women, fetuses, and young children continue to remain a focal point of both public and private institutions. Through overexposure to this neurotoxin, fetuses and infants can exhibit various symptoms ranging from brain damage and mental retardation to problems with coordination. In an attempt to make the general public more aware of the effects of overexposure, various advisories have been initiated on local fisheries. Several methods are available for mercury analysis in fish. Most, however, require elaborate preparation procedures that are labor intensive and subsequently expensive. Direct mercury analysis, as described in U.S. EPA Method 7473, is an alternative to these methods and has been used successfully to determine total mercury in fish and other biological tissues.
