| Abstract: | In this paper, the cumulant method using available capacity distribution(ACD)based on chronological load curve for production simulation of power systems is presented. It is not only efficient in computation but also more accurate than conventional cumulant methods. Especially it is suitable for the storage simulation, e.g. pumped-storage units. Case studies based on IEEE Reliability Test System and the comparisons with conventional cumulant methods are given. |
